Branch Statement on Silent Sam

Chapel Hill – Carrboro NAACP Branch Statement on the Fall of the Silent Sam Statue The Chapel Hill – Carrboro Branch of the National Association of the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is grateful there were no injuries Monday night as Silent Sam fell. It is our branch’s position that this juncture of the struggle underscores how badly we need massive voter registration and unprecedented voter turnout this fall. Register to vote. Help register others to vote. Help get others to the polls
