BRANCH ELECTIONS NOTICE Chapel Hill - Carrboro Branch of the NAACP, Unit #5689 will conduct Election of Officers and Executive Committee Members at Large on SATURDAY NOVEMBER 3, 2018. Voting will occur at ROGERS ROAD COMMUNITY CENTER, 101 Edgar Street Chapel Hill, NC 27516. Polls will be open from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. In order to vote in a Branch election, one must be a member in good standing of the branch 30 days prior to the election. A form of identification is required. Should a run - off election be necessary, that election shall occur on November 17 at 12 o'clock Noon at the same location. The Orange County Democratic Party will provide free rides to the polls throughout the early voting period (until Nov. 2 at 7 p.m.) and on Election Day, Nov. 6. Voters can request a ride to the polls by calling 919-933-9662. The office is open 12-2 p.m. weekdays, but people needing a ride can call anytime and leave their name, address, phone number and when they’d like to go to the polls to vote.
