The NC NAACP is now accepting self-nominations for the following positions: President, Secretary, 1st Vice President, Asst. Secretary, 2nd Vice President, Treasurer, 3rd Vice President, Asst. Treasurer, 4th Vice President, (7) At-Large Executive Committee Members and Directors for District (1-16).
To be considered an eligible candidate you must:
Be an active member in good standing as of 12/15/2020.
Complete the Candidate Consent Form.
Be nominated by three or more members of a unit in good standing with current memberships as of September 9, 2021.
Consent Forms and nominations must be submitted no later than September 30, 2021 and can be sent electronically via email to (tnnaacp3@bellsouth.net) or mailed to TN NAACP, 27 Brentshire Sq, Jackson, TN 38305. Items sent via mail must be postmarked no later than September 30.
Remember that Consent Forms and Petitions for Nominations must include name, complete Address, Phone Number and Email Address. Consent Forms and Nominations submitted via email must come directly from the individual’s email address to TN NAACP. You can submit a scan copy of the forms.
The election of Officers and At-Large Members of the Executive Committee of the State Conference will take place on Saturday, October 9, 2021 via Election Buddy. More information about the Election Buddy system and the time allotted to cast your vote will be discussed with members at the September 23rd meeting.
