Towns seeking member input for Juneteenth

The Juneteenth Committee for the Chapel Hill–Carrboro event is seeking feedback from NAACP member(s) on what would make this year’s celebration a success. To clarify, there is no ongoing obligation to attend committee meetings—this is simply a request for input.

Members are invited to:

  • Attend the March 24 meeting from 12:00–1:30 p.m. virtually, or

  • Share feedback in advance of the meeting.

Please send insights, questions or request for the virtual  meeting to Michelle Blume, Carrboro Recreation Supervisor, at mblume@carrboronc.gov or 919-918-7367.
